Good morning everyone! Today I suggest some special gift ideas for mothers and new mothers. I thought of gifts that are not only beautiful, but also have a deep meaning, rooted in auspicious traditions related to motherhood. Among these ideas, I will also tell you about two of my creations. I hope that these proposals inspire you as much as they inspired me!
Here's what to give to a mother or a new mother:
What to give a mom: my personalized forest pillow ♥
Those who already know me know... In my Room in the Woods I create unique cushions inspired by forest animals , such as the bear and the hedgehog, symbols of protection and family. Choose the animal that best represents the mother you want to give the gift to and add a personal touch with a special dedication. These cushions are not only decorative, but also offer comfort and a sense of connection with nature.
Not sure which animal to choose? To find the animal that best represents the spirit or qualities of the mother you want to give a gift to, read this post of mine on the main characteristics of woodland animals: WOODLAND GUIDE ANIMALS →

What to give to a mother: lucky charm pendant
Another of my creations is the lucky charm . Made of rhodium-plated 925 silver, each charm depicts a spirit animal, such as a butterfly or a bee. The butterfly symbolizes transformation and new beginnings, perfect for a new mother who is going through big changes. The bee represents diligence and teamwork, ideal for a mother who works hard for the well-being of her family. These charms offer a touch of elegance and strong symbolism. Consider that in many cultures charms are symbols of protection, luck and health, such as those in jade (in China) or red coral (in Italy); and a lucky charm, for example with the totem of your spirit animal, can offer comfort and inspiration on busy days, acting as a reminder of your inner qualities and your connection with nature.

What to give to a mother: wind chimes
Wind chimes are a gift that brings beauty and serenity. Traditionally used in many cultures to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck, these bells produce a sweet and relaxing sound. Hung in a window or in a garden, they offer a moment of peace and tranquility, a touch of harmony perfect for the home of a new mother. You can opt for the Korean version called Pung-gyeong (풍경) which often has a fish at the end, the Japanese version called Furin (風鈴) whose most popular examples are the glass ones, or the more well-known Native American wooden wind chime. And if the mother is yours, you can consider making a wind chime with your own hands, there are several tutorials on YouTube, watch this one for example !
What to give to a mother: argan oil
Let's not forget that mothers love to take care of their little ones, but they also need to take care of themselves and pamper themselves. A beauty product is always a welcome gift, especially if it is natural. Argan oil , for example, is a 100% natural beauty elixir used for generations in Morocco for its benefits on skin and hair, and in this sense it is a symbol of nourishment and care. You can also find various quality Argan oils online, the important thing is to select one that has only " argania spinosa oil " as an ingredient, without perfumes and preservatives.
What to give a mom: personalized photo diary
In an age where everything is digital, a personalized photo journal has an emotional value. Collecting special moments in a physical album, perhaps decorated with personalized graphics, adds a touch of intimacy and nostalgia to the memories. This gift not only preserves precious memories, but also makes them tangible, a loving gesture that a mother will always appreciate. Free tools like Canva make it easy to create your own personalized album, try it! And before sending to print, make sure you have uploaded quality images for optimal results.
These 5 gift ideas are more than just objects: they are gestures of love, respect and gratitude that every mother will surely appreciate. I hope these ideas have inspired you and that you find the perfect gift to celebrate your mother!
See you soon,
